A typical example of the mid weight brown cotton canvas bag, which has some nice issued/makers stamps and clearly marked ‘1918’. Original user’s name ‘Sergeant Obee’ hand applied to the exterior. Remains of what appears to be a paper label on the base.  read more

A rare naval cap tally worn by the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve London Division circa 1914. Full length gold wire lettering on black silk ribbon. The RNVR was mobilised at the beginning of WWI and those not required for sea service were converted into infantry soldiers as part of the Royal Naval Division to help relieve pressure on regular infantry. A nice condition rare tank mask issued to tank crews at the beginning of the era of tank warfare in 1917. Its leather face covering all intact and non rotted.
