BRITISH WWI TANK MASK.

A very nice condition tank mask from World War I, introduced for the tank cops in 1917 designed to protect the eyes and face from shards of steel from the interior of the tank body when hit by enemy rounds, the brown leather covering has not dried out, the suede interior is complete, slight age toning, and three minor moth nips, the head securing tape complete, and lower chain mail perfect.  read more

A very nice subdued brown waist belt with its cross strap, the waist belt is maker marked and dated ‘17’ with the name ‘M.Jenks’ hand applied to the inside of the cross strap.  read more

The 1908 pattern large pack in service used but generally good condition with a few light nicks to the webbing. Very proudly stencilled to the exterior flap ‘3/262 T O L JENKINS NZ MC’ (New Zealand Motor Corps). To the interior ‘1918’ dated and maker marked with broad arrow and army number ‘3262’. Two long extra straps fitted.  read more

A very close match of Royal Flying Corps shoulder titles, the cloth that incorporates the word ‘Corps’ has been cut differently than the opposite side, also small items in the lettering are slightly different, however excellent condition.  read more
