BRITISH WWI 1ST PATTERN RIMLESS BRODIE HELMET WITH SACKING COVER.
Rimless 1st pattern helmet, non magnetic. The sacking cover has faded incredibly, some rust from the interior dome flooding through the cover. To one side a lozenge form has remained with its original colour, a section of insignia was originally attached to this form and has possibly rotted away whilst in storage. On inverting the helmet the sacking material still retains much original colour, ... read more

BRITISH WWI LEWIS GUN WEB SET.
A very nice matching coloured non blancoed yoke set of four Lewis gun pouches. One shoulder strap maker marked ‘M.E.Co. 1917’ with broad arrow, the other shoulder strap faintly marked, all four pouches clearly marked ‘M.W. & S 1918’. It is very difficult to find an original untouched set of the Lewis pouch yoke, most were converted for use in WWII. read more

The both have artificers cross tool badges to th... read more
