A very good example of the rarest of all the major combatants Adrian pattern helmets of WWI. Serbia was on the allies side after being invaded by the Austro/Hungarian Empire. BRITISH WWI PAIR OF BRITISH RFC OFFICERS PORTRAITS.

A very nice pair of portraits of the same officer, each held in nicely tooled Morocco leather cases. The first portrait shows the officer in typical maternity jacket having embroidered pips to each epaulette and wearing the Sam Browne belt. A fine example of the ultra rare Welsh knife. Designed in 1916 by the sculptor Felix Joubert and patented by himself as a new or improved Welsh knife. It was based on the ancient Welsh weapon.
