FRENCH WWI HORIZON BLUE FRENCH ENGINEERS HELMET.
Helmet originally painted horizon blue and has been over painted with a further coating of a slightly darker shade. Fitted with the badge of the French engineers, minor indentations, complete with undamaged liner and strap, attached to the strap is the original owners identity disc with name number. Eight nicely typed out full description of the helmet and its history still attached to the helmet. read more

The brightly coloured blue yellow and red message streamers, with message pouch at the base which is closed by a male-female press stud, these were thrown out of aircraft to the troops below to give them information on what the pilot viewed on the battlefield, slight age staining one tear. read more
