An extremely rare badge being the enlisted ranks version, worn on the visor cap for a member of the crew of the airship R100. The sister ship the R101 crashed with great publicity in northern France in the middle 1930’s, subsequently the R100 was scrapped. Residue of paper and glue on the back where once adhered to a collectors display board, beautifully hand embroidered. read more

A 37 cm long small gauge telescope, manufactured by W Ottway and Company, mounted on a wood block which has various fitting holes and leather strap fittings indicating that it would have been strapped to a firm base, the upper block of wood painted in green for extra camouflage, the optics of the telescope need cleaning, an interesting object of World War I sniping. read more
