BRITISH WWII MARK 4 STEEL HELMET.
A good and hard to find untouched early example of the mark 4 helmet having 90% of its roughened olive finish with some rust bleed and a small area of chipping. It is clear that the camouflage net laid upon this helmet for many years and the dust outline is very clear to the dome. BRITISH WWII HOME FRONT GROUPING.
A nice grouping of items which include the Brodie helmet painted black with the colours in shield shape of St.Bartholomew’s Hospital. BRITISH WWII ARTILLERY SLOUCH HAT.
This hat came complete with a group of items to a Sergeant Tucker, the soldier’s number was 2030230. U.S. WWII T HANDLED SHOVEL.
The typical U.S. T handled entrenching tool issued in 1910 and used throughout WWII until its eventual replacement by the 1943 pattern folding entrenching tool. Generally good condition overall, some of the olive drab paint loss to the wooden haft and to the handle but good overall without any corrosion .’US’ stamped to both the metalwork and the handles. read more
