BRITISH WWII MARK 2 NATIONAL FIRE SERVICE BRODIE HELMET.

Very nice paint finish, some abrasions to the crown area with National Fire Service decal and number ‘17’ below, which is the Bristol area of Great Britain. The helmet is dated ‘1939’ and produced by ‘BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies)’, the liner is dated ‘1940’ and stamped ‘N Limited’, which is (S.E.Norris Limited) size of 6 ¾ with its elasticated chinstrap. RUSSIAN WWII BERLIN BATTLE DAMAGED M 40 HELMET.

A very fine relic from the battle of Berlin, found in 1995 in a ruined house very close to the Reichstag, the building that it was found in was part of what the East Germans called the killing zone following the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961 and it remained empty until the falling of the Berlin Wall. RUSSIAN WWII M 36 HELMET SHELL ONLY.

The M 36 in production 4 years only between 1936 and 40, this is souvenir excavated example from the Russian Finnish war , known as the winter war, the shell still retains much of its original white camouflage paint on one side and it can clearly be seen how the helmet has been laying in probably soft sand. Some pitting overall, chin strap posts still present.  read more

A service worn example of the 170cm x 170cm groundsheet, light tan to one side light brown to the opposite side, each side has a slightly mottled camouflage beneath the main colour, all the holes for making the sheet into a tent are handstitched, no tears or undue heavy staining.  read more
