An extremely rare slouch hat worn by a member of the Jingpaw Rangers who were part of Detachment 101 a sub unit of the American OSS. A very fine quality cap by Herbert Johnston of New Bond Street being a post 1953 officers cap for the Welsh Guards. Very nicely embroidered Welsh Guards insignia with Staybright buttons, leather chinstrap, heavy bullion peak lace, complete with all inner lining and waterproof inner crown. read more

BRITISH WWII CAMOUFLAGE HELMET.
An interesting green and brown splotch pattern camouflage finish to a Brodie pattern helmet, three holes drilled in the rear brim possibly for a neck protector. Maker marked and dated ‘1942’ to the internal fibre cradle to the oilskin liner. Complete with its sprung loaded webbing and canvas chinstrap, the chinstrap is frail and rusty in places. read more
