GERMAN WWI ERSATZ BAYONET WITH FROG.

A very nice condition ersatz bayonet with at least 80% of its original field grey green paint finish remaining to the hilt and scabbard, with its original leather frog. The blade is excellent, not sharpened or reprofiled, with its Imperial German acceptance stamp on the flat back edge of the blade.

Round bronze medal measuring 30mm in circumference with original ribbon although slightly grubby. The reverse side inscribed 'Der Tapferkeit'. This is a pre 1917 award with the head of Franz Josef.  read more

Excellent condition steel and gilded cuirass worn by a Cuirassier officer in Regiments Nos.3, 4, 5,7 & 8. Complete with its correct scales, original leather waist strap, original leather behind the chin scales. The hook to the upper right hand chin scale for securing the bandolier in place is missing.
