IMPERIAL GERMAN SOUVENIR BUCKLE.

A highly unusual buckle, the base buckle being an all brass French enlisted mans belt plate from the Franco/Prussian war with an Imperial German Gott Mit Uns Prussian crowned centreplate affixed to the French buckle. This is more than likely a souvenir by a German soldier of the 1870 Franco/Prussian conflict.  read more
