A very rare holster, the main body identical to a Luger PO8 holster but with added rear suspension system, both stitched and riveted to the main holster with a forward facing belt loop system for the mounted troops of the Reich Gendarmerie. A nice service worn example of the all steel one-piece extra long telegrapher’s belt buckle with the fittings to each end of the buckle for allowing the line laying equipment to be clipped to the buckle.
