WWI TURKISH GROUPING.
An interesting grouping of Turkish military artefacts on WWI. Turkish flag 75cm x 50cm, some light mothing, still with its narrow selvage edge, good depth of red to the flag. German made Mauser pouch with Turkish star and crescent markings. An enlisted ranks Turkish epaulette for an artillery unit coupled with a German made Oberstleutnant’s slip-on shoulder board with a Prussian button attached, possibly worn by a German advisor. German made combat belt of good length with its original Turkish nickel and brass buckle attached, the buckle still having its leather tab, which is extremely difficult to find, two extra holes have been punctured to the main body of the belt for extra adjustment when needed, the adjuster leather tab to the belt is still complete, a clear date of ‘1914’ to one end of the belt. 5 items.
