A very fine condition all black leather, size ‘55½’ stamped skull, some light crazing to the front and rear peaks. All silver fittings with its Bavarian front plate, chinstrap, national and state cockades. A very good condition grey green issue quality feldmutze, all the nap to the cloth remaining, red piped to crown, red band around the base, complete with its larger size national and state cockades. One slight moth nip just to the left of the Prussian State cockade. White cotton lining, faint traces of army group markings and an oval red manufacturers stamp to the interior.  read more
