A scarce piece of headdress from the Imperial German navy of WWI being the full dress Officers cocked hat. Complete with its large gilt button having the Imperial crown over anchor. The red, white and black rosette, its gilt brockade decoration. Some degrading to the black lace. Complete with its interior liner and leather sweat band.  read more

A lovely helmet of the rare Wurttemberg Regiments No 119 or 123.. All leather pickelhaube, which has gone to a matt finish through storage, secure front and back peaks. A rather battered but scarce bugle to obtain from WWI being a Saxon regimental bugle. Saxon coat of arms to the top of the bugle. It would appear that the nickel rim has been added later. Leipzig maker marked. Complete with its multi coloured green and white cording with tassels.  read more

GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN ENLISTED MANS HELMET PLATE.

A standard all brass helmet plate for the Prussian pickelhaube. The staff that connects to the eagle on the left hand side of the helmet is complete but has split, this can be repaired if needed. Complete with both of its helmet fitting loops on the reverse side.  read more

A rare construction of a leather pickelhaube known as the football helmet. Small size helmet. All brass fittings for a Saxon Artillery man. Correct standard non serrated style state and national cockades. Original chinstrap. 9 tongued liner in superb condition. A good example of this constructed style helmet is shown on page 114 and 115 of Feldzug 1914 by Michael Baldwin.  read more
