A complete and original Ernst Rohm dagger, the blade unfortunately has had some abusing. To the lower part of the blade butting up to the lower grip mount there is evidence of corrosion, partly obscuring the early Eickhorn trademark. Both blade edges have been slightly sharpened. A very fine example of the 25 General Assault Badge by Rudolf Karneth. All of the silver finish remaining to the oak leaf wreath, the dark grey patinated finish to the eagle and crossed bayonet and grenade perfect. 25 number tablet intact, with its original four delicate domed rivets, wide tapering steel pin, original hook and hinge. A service used all aluminium buckle, marked in four places ‘RZM’ within a twin circle ‘SS’ within a circle ’36/39’ within a circle plus ‘OLC’ within a lozenge.
