A very unusual variant, convex construction, with silver reinforcing plates behind the hinge and the hook, also a large silver rivet to the centre to retain the iron plate to the frame. An extremely rare variant, excellent quality real silver convex example, stamped ‘800’ with the makers mark above. Silver concave rear plate retained by a smaller silver plate having two raised dome sections to assist in undoing the disc, the disc is also stamped ‘800’. A very rare variant, excellent quality real silver ‘800’ stamped to one of the arms of the cross to the lower arm of the cross on the reverse side. Silver concave shape.
