A very nice example of the Luftwaffe Observers Badge. The laurel and oak leaf wreath retains all its original finish. The unique style observer eagle also retains its dark grey patinated finish. A nice condition with many frosted highlights to the 1939 Bar to the Iron Cross. Good matt silver detail with highlighted edges to the 1939 frame, the swastika and the tips of the wings, however slight staining just either side of the central breast of the eagle.
