A good example of the scarce Submarine Combat Clasp, this is the type 2 award with the flat back. The majority of the bronze finish remaining with slight loss to the tip of the left hand set of leaves also on the hull of the submarine, with its correct tapering fluted pin. A super condition sword, early non maker marked blade measuring 80cm in length, fitted with its highly nickel plated D guard hilt, which retains all of its nickel plating with some minor losses.
