A very nice example of a ‘FLL43’ marked Coastal Artillery Badge. Excellent gilt to the surrounding wreath. Good patination to the Coastal Artillery gun, with its correct pin, hook and hinge on the reverse side. US WWII M1 HELMET LINER IDENTIFIED.

A standard liner, to either side of the shell it is insignia painted, on the right hand side the medical insignia of the 354th General Hospital, on the opposite side the 2nd Army insignia and to the front the single oak leaf of a Colonel. Some unidentified stampings inside the liner band, otherwise all paint finish complete, this liner must have been used for ceremonial purposes.  read more
