Recently acquired by ourselves from the son of the owner, standard British Army duffel coat, which has seen much service wear, complete with its three wooden toggles and its securing ropes. US VIETNAM WAR M.1 HELMET.

A rare helmet from the Vietnam War, with its original cover and inner liner. The liner is dated ‘1967, the cover is dated ‘1968’, it has always been attached to the helmet, it is held smooth by a webbing grey rubber band. The cover has stitched openings for foliage insertion, with all its inner lining including the leather sweatband and its webbing chinstrap.  read more

US WWII UNITED STATES ARMY AIR FORCE SWEETHEART HOME FRONT BROOCH.

Lovely quality gilded wings with imitation stones to the central star and to the upper wings. Gilded on the reverse side with its typical American clutch type pin. The only markings are the numbers ‘571’ on the reverse side.  read more

BRITISH WWII UNOPENED EMERGENCY RATION TIN, DATED JULY 44.

This unopened ration tin came with the effects of Lieutenant Harold Bergbaum No.3 Army Commando, who served at the crossing of the Rhine. Slight rusting to the exterior of the tin with a separate label R & Co Limited, PKD 7/44. Accompanying the afore-mentioned ration tin is a 1943 dated 1st field dressing, the property of the same owner.  read more

A stored condition trench periscope of the tubular form 54 cm in length , original brown paint finish remaining, both mirrors present but suffering from age, slight corrosion where the tubular part of the periscope meets the wood handle that does have some woodworm.  read more

A well worn waist belt for the Sam Browne set, dated ‘1915’, maker marked, with its original cross strap. Accompanied by a ‘1914 H G & R’ marked ammunition pouch that does have some crazing to its skin.  read more

A mint unissued set for a French World War I soldier, comprising the collarless shirt with three button closure and a pair of the under trousers. All buttons appear to be present, slight storage staining, the only markings visible within the waistband of the under trousers.  read more
