The tan coloured beret worn by this scarce women’s service. Some minor moth tracking, which is not serious. The original ‘Boyd Cooper, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London W1’ maker’s label visible beneath the protective lozenge in the upper inner crown. The blade is not abused, slightly dull. Good clear SMF and Luftwaffe acceptance stamps. All matching grey finish to the upper pommel, cross guard and scabbard rings. The very finely enamelled black, white and red RAD insignia for the officers cap. One chip to the enamel lower right hand side of the spade, complete with its fixing prongs on the reverse side, one prong missing. Profusely maker marked and RAD acceptance stamp on the reverse side in four places with what appears to be the date 36.  read more
