GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS M43 OFFICERS FIELD CAP.

A very nice service worn condition, size 58 SS M.43 officers double button cap. The nap is generally good but slightly worn around the edges of the brim and the areas close to the one-piece eagle and skull Bevo woven insignia, also thinness of nap close to the edges of the silver waffenfarbe, which has oxidised in places. The lining is the classic herringbone twill lining found in many of these caps. There is obvious service wear use in the forehead area but generally in excellent condition, no moth damage or staining. The one-piece insignia is cross hatched machine stitched to the cap.
