GERMAN WWII KUBAN SHIELD CITATION.

The A5 size citation with hand applied lettering to Gefreiter Johann Bouer of the 3./PZ.JAG.ABT.198. Field Marshall’s signature. Facsimile hand dated ‘1st Oktober 1944’. The unit was part of the 98th Infantry Division, which was destroyed when German forces were cut off in the Crimean Peninsular in 1944. Folded once, non punch holed.  read more

BRITISH PRESS PHOTOGRAPHS OF MEMBERS OF THE AA

The photos show motorcycle patrols and are extremely clear sharp images in excellent condition. They have profuse typed notations to the rear. One reads “AA patrols of home defence duty”. The photo shows an AA box being modified by an AA member so they could be used for civil defence purposes. Parked next to the box is his motorbike which appears to have had camouflaged paint applied. GERMAN WWII TELEGRAPHER’S BUCKLE.

A nice service worn example of the all steel one-piece extra long telegrapher’s belt buckle with the fittings to each end of the buckle for allowing the line laying equipment to be clipped to the buckle. Some paint losses but much original field grey green paint remaining with its double pronged belt fixing system.  read more
