GERMAN WWII PANZER AFRIKA M.40 VISOR FIELD CAP.

An extremely well worn and repaired M.40 visor field cap, our images will show the extensive wear and degrading of the material through body sweat. We believe this was either Karl Halfar or a Lago manufactured piece, all the markings are bleached out from the red lining. The pink soutache is original to the cap, the national cockade is undoubtedly original to the cap, the eagle was removed by a prisoner of war and has been re-instituted by a post war collector. The seam on the crown is split slightly, all other areas of degrading can clearly be seen.
