BRITISH WWII RAF B TYPE FLYING HELMET.

A very nice condition B type flying helmet, excellent supple leather, both zips to the earpieces working correctly, earphones never been fitted within the two ear pouches, stamped to the inside crown over AM, size 4, the helmet has been modified to fit a later type of oxygen mask, all press studs, buckles and straps intact.  read more

An extremely rare artefact of the political turmoil of the 1930s in Europe being the 30 inch x 20 inch or 82cm x 63cm banner that was hung from the carrying banner pole and banner top. A slightly rusty white painted with red lettering road side sign placed by forward reconnaissance troops advancing ahead of the main forces and warning of the advancing troops of presence of mines. Eisenhower in full uniform hatless sitting at his desk, accompanied by a lightly foxed headed paper of Headquarters 21st Army Group with the signature of Dwight D.
