Standard Brodie helmet, two indentations to the crown, painted black with the letter ‘A’ stencilled to the front. The inner liner is size stamped and dated ‘1939’. Original owner’s name hand painted in green paint to the inner shell, also some scratched initials. The shell is dated ‘1939’ with makers stamp ‘JSS’ with its elasticated chinstrap.  read more

A nice condition Home Front helmet being the standard Brodie helmet painted in black with its clearly stencilled letter on both sides ‘FAP’ indicating Field Aid Post. The clock would appear to be inoperable at the present time, it is placed on a wooden wall board.
