WWII POLISH ENTRENCHING TOOL

A most unusual item of field equipment. We strongly believe this to be Polish. The steel shovel is in the linnman style. These were used by many countries in central Europe and this is the pointed type. There is a good large steel stamp which reads ''Wlochy.'' Wlochy is a suburb and a large industrial area of Warsaw. A three part uniform of a British Major General being the mess jacket, waistcoat and trousers, the waistcoat having all of the small size Generals buttons, larger size General buttons to the beautifully constructed epaulettes with their cross sword and baton motifs and a Major Generals rank star, all in bullion.
