GERMAN WWI BINOCULAR CASE.

A very nice field grey green all leather binocular case for the 6 x 30 field binoculars, complete with its matching green shoulder strap. One minor hole to the main body just to the right of the sprung loaded closing clip, which could possibly be a small piece of shrapnel. This would be excellent for a display on a model 1910 field grey officers tunic.  read more

GERMAN WWI ENTRENCHING TOOL WITH ERSATZ STEEL COVER.

Not seen in any photographic work but excessively rare is the WWI German entrenching tool with its ersatz steel cover, the shovel being the standard issue First World War tool in its original field grey green, fitted with its DRGM stamped steel holder with twin leather belt loops and one single long leather closure strap, the closure fits over a lug. Good wood haft.  read more

An absolutely mint blade by C.E.Juncker with nice early C.E.Juncker markings. All cross grain finish remaining with its composition cross hatched grip similar to the bayonets, with its eagle’s head pommel with imitation button for bayonet fixing. A highly interesting enamel sign measuring 25 x 20cm, black lettering on white enamel, some damage to the edges, giving instructions to the military stableman on the care of the horses within the barracks.  read more

GERMAN WWI ARMY NCO CAVALRY BELT BUCKLE AND SWORD STRAP.

A very scarce parade type in white patent leather, brass rectangular buckle with double prongs on the reverse side. Sword strap with brass chain and hook for carrying the sword higher. The white felt lining worn away, slight wear showing to the white patent leather. A scarce accessory being the removable shoulder strap to fit a German fur or canvas back pack. Indistinct Berlin maker’s mark but a clear ‘B.A.X 1916’ for 10th Army Corps. Brass fittings.  read more

A standard Imperial German field grey canvas bread bag with some service staining. A leather loop missing from the front for the attachment of the water bottle, all other leather straps complete with zeltbahn buttons, one button missing from the belt loop with a rare marking to the interior for the 'B.
