GERMAN WWI SAXON REGIMENT 107 BELT AND BUCKLE.

A very nice condition black leather service belt, fitted with its original brass and nickel Saxon enlisted ranks belt buckle. The buckle is marked at the base of the buckle ‘107.I.R.2.’ (2nd Company Saxon Infantry Regiment 107). The belt has been reduced in size to 90cm, the leather adjustable tab has been cut down to three sections of double pronged holes, it was probably 100cm previously.  read more

GERMAN WWI KOELLER BAYONET FIGHTING KNIFE.

An example of the F.Koeller & Company bayonet fighting knife. All steel hilt with faint traces of its field grey green finish remaining. Corrosion to the inner side of the grip. The bayonet retaining lug present and working correctly. The blade is full length, toned overall. Fitted into its original scabbard with leather belt loop missing. Some corrosion to the lower part of the scabbard.  read more

GERMAN WWI GEWEHR 98 POUCHES.

A very nice mid tan mismatched pair of Gewehr 98 pouches, the standard ammunition pouches carried by the German soldier in WWI. All construction details are identical to both pouches, good white stitching, all pebbled leather, on the reverse side the rivet pattern is exactly the same and both have galvanised D rings, one is ‘Stuttgart 1917’ maker marked, the other is ‘1915’ maker marked and dated.  read more

A single shoulder board with the gold intertwined and silver wrap of a General rank, the silver having within its weave the black and red colours of the State of Wurttemberg, all set on green underlay for a Wurttemberg Military Administration General.  read more

GERMAN COLONIAL TROOPS LEATHER EQUIPMENT SET.

A very scarce set of leather equipment uniquely issued to members of the colonial troops for the German colonies. The leather is soft and supple, complete with its cross straps, riveted bayonet frog. Good service wear, thick heavy brass with nickel overlay plate with some wear to the crown, with its original leather tab with faint traces of maker markings, date obscured.  read more

The two-piece buckle which the back section appears to be constructed from weaker metal than brass, more in the line of copper with its standard nickel overlay plate. One bit of corrosion to the left hand side of the buckle, with its double pronged belt fixing system, which at some time has been restored.  read more
