Any headdress from the small Duchy of Mecklenburg is rare, this excellent leather skull helmet with both peaks securely attached to the main body, this is the model from model 1867 with its unusual type spike and ball top. A scarce white cotton cover for the standard officers pickelhaube, marked inside the peak ‘DRP’ and retaining its original shop label showing the size that would fit the helmet between 57-60. Slight age staining and minor discoloration.  read more

A very nice condition Helios 8 telescopic sight marked ‘Zum Scharfstellen’ maker marked ‘R.Fuess Steglitz-Berlin’. Complete with all its fittings. Slight losses of black finish to the main body, optic excellent, Fuess were the major manufacturers of optics to the Imperial germane Army.  read more
