An excellent condition and highly attractive all printed and painted veterans banner measuring 105 x 145 cm, three of the edges in heavy bullion gold fringe. GERMAN WWI ADAPTED FIGHTING KNIFE.

A highly unusual fighting knife with a standard blade in excellent condition. The hilt is a miniaturised version of the model 1898 02 and 05 bayonet, complete with its slotted bayonet system and sprung loaded fitting button. A very attractive multi coloured china stein for the 1st Company Baden Pioneer Battalion No.14, dated 1909 to 11. The steins were purchased by conscripts ‘For Memory of their Service Time. A waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf 1916 manufactured and dated bolt action rifle being the standard arm of the German infantrymen of WWI. Gun number 8676.
