Excellent condition front plate with all its original paint finish. A leather strap fitted but possibly a replacement. Nice heavy bell ringing sound, which is the test for originality on these front plates. No manufacturers markings.  read more

A standard field grey canvas tent pole bag with various staining but complete with its twin buttons and its undamaged leather strapping, containing the three zeltbahn wooden poles, very nicely marked to a Breslau maker to the inside of the flap and to the exterior a hand applied printed label very worn with the name 'FLIEGER FRATLE, FELD-FLIEGER ABTEILUNG 29'. The blade based on the 98/05 model, slight staining overall but no lack of profile, it’s all steel imitation wood grip retaining some of its field grey green paint finish in the lower areas of the ribs, the steel scabbard having minor indentations to the base, also retains some original black paint finish, with its original excellent condition leather frog.

AUSTRIAN WWI ENLISTED RANKS ENTRENCHING TOOL.

A good example of the enlisted ranks entrenching tool, wood haft excellent, spade section with minor surface rusting but complete with its ultra rare leather skeletal holder, in which the leather is strong and supple and fully usable for mannequin display. Slight blackness to the leather in the area around the rivets, the roller buckle and its prongs still complete and in good working condition.  read more

A very good condition leather skeletal holder in brown, all rivets and stitching strong, buckles and other metalwork in excellent condition, complete with its shovel, which is a good wood haft with only surface corrosion slightly evident to the spade section.  read more
