An unused set of size 10 ankle boots, 7 eyelets with original leather laces. BRITISH WWI THE ALLENBURY GAS FACE MASK.
A very rare piece of First War British equipment being the Allenbury patent gas face mask that which has a Mica eye slit. Normally Mica of this age would have broken and discoloured, there are slight creases in it but no breaks and it is still clear. A good example of the Roold flying helmet worn by British, French and Belgium aviators in WWI. All cork body, canvas finish with four panels to the crown. BRITISH WWI RIMLESS BRODIE HELMET WITH COVER.
A rimless 1st pattern helmet, non magnetic, the second colour has faded incredibly, some rust to the interior dome flooding through the cover. To one side a lozenge form where a unit insignia was applied but obviously the stitching has rotted and has dropped away from the cover.
