A scarce case for the Fife musical instrument. These cases have a very wide slider to the rear, this was to attach to the 1908 webbing belt, these were indeed carried on field operations. To the front flap is a very clear maker's mark 'J.A.Jacobs & Co Limited 1915'. The leather remains good and supple and a good deep brown colour.  read more
