ROMANIAN WWI ADRIAN HELMET WITH STEEL BADGE.

Good condition Adrian helmet as issued to the Romanian Armed Forces of WWI. The skull generally having 90% of its original pint finish remaining with one minor indentation, which has rusted, the skull also has rust flooding through the paint finish. A very nicely produced soft Melton cloth khaki officers visor cap from the Royal Sussex Regiment, the visor also is covered in the same matching material. A scarce artefact of the trenches of WWI being a 2 inch trench mortar round with huge spherical head, which is 9 inches, approximately 230mm in diameter. Extremely heavy weighting 19kg the round alone. This has been dug and does suffer from minor corrosion and has been repainted.  read more
