A good upper medium size British trench cap, with the badge affixed of the Royal Sussex Regiment. chinstrap of the correct narrow style with general service side buttons. The 1907 bayonet with excellent blade, multiplicity of markings, wood grips undamaged with its 1914 pattern grained brown leather frog and matching helve stick holder, the leather holder marked ‘HGR 1915’. The badge attached is of the Buckinghamshire Battalion. The Buckinghamshire Battalion were part of the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. 50% of the original brown paint remaining.
