A stored condition trench periscope of the tubular form 54 cm in length , original brown paint finish remaining, both mirrors present but suffering from age, slight corrosion where the tubular part of the periscope meets the wood handle that does have some woodworm.  read more

A well restored example of the scarce number 1 hand grenade, it would appear that the head of the grenade has been ground Dug, there are some perforations to the brass body which has been fitted with a new wood haft, nice clear markings to the head of fire, travel and remove.  read more

BRITISH WWI OPEN TOP HOLSTER.

A generally good condition tank corps or RFC used open top holster, for the fitting of the Webley mark 6 revolver, complete with its 08 pattern steel fitting clips on the reverse side, with the leather aperture for the cleaning rod and with its closure strap.  read more

FRENCH MADE, BRITISH USED WWI BINOCULARS.

A set of possibly 6 x 30 magnification French made binoculars that have ‘British Out of Service’ stamps. Optics need cleaning, the body to the binoculars is good with its original neck strap. The nice metallic version set with dark blue bordering on black cloth with a back plate with the maker’s plate of ‘J.Gaunt & Company, London’ on the reverse side. This is the very first pattern RAF cap badge, introduced in 1918.  read more
