FRENCH CHASSEPOT BAYONET.

A nice condition ‘1867’ dated Chassepot bayonet. Good condition brass ribbed hilt with its rifle attachment system present and working correctly. A series of mismatched number to the hilt and to the scabbard, the scabbard itself is complete undamaged.  read more

BRITISH VICTORIAN COPPER WATER BOTTLE.

A fine quality copper manufactured large capacity water bottle, the bottle itself broad arrow marked in two places, with the separate removable cup also broad arrow marked. We have not been able to identify what pattern this bottle, is any information from collectors will be appreciated.  read more

BRITISH PRE WWI SOMERSET YEOMANRY OFFICERS TUNIC AND BREECHES.

An all blue long sleeve tunic with two upper patch pockets without flaps, two lower pockets internal style, again without pocket flaps. A very dark blue colour, white collar, breeches with twin white stripes. The shoulder boards are of the chain variety with two officers ranks pips to each board. A pickelhaube worn in the Franco/Prussian War, a scarce model in good condition, unit stamped on the rear peak ‘J.R.74 FB’ (Fusilier Battalion). BRITISH 17TH LANCERS ENLISTED RANKS LANCE CAP.

A good clean example of a Victorian crowned 17th Lancers chapska. The skull in excellent undamaged, slightly crazed overall to the finish of the body. FREDERICK THE GREAT COMMEMORATIVE TOBACCO BOX.

An extremely rare bell top shako worn by an officer of the 11th Foot the Devonshire Regiment. BRITISH PRE WWI ROYAL SCOTS ENLISTED RANKS GLENGARRY.

A lovely condition very late Victorian Glengarry cap worn by an enlisted man in the Royal Scots, complete with its tails. The interior has its original maker’s label ‘Thistle’ with paper size label ‘6 ¾’. No extra holes indicating that no other badge has ever been applied. This is a late Victorian cap indicated by the fact that it does not have the dicing introduced later.  read more
