U.S.WWII A2 FLYING JACKET.
A very nice condition dark chestnut brown leather A2 flying jacket that has lost its label and is approximately size 40, with its original Talon zip, which is fully functional. To the upper left hand sleeve is a very nice but creased American flag in leather. To the right hand sleeve 15th Air Force patch in leather. To the upper right breast a squadron patch, which appears to be a black panther above, again what appears to be bombardment group numbers of ‘460’. Above the patch a U.S.Army Air Force set of wings with the name crudely inscribed, which appears to be ‘Bill’ either ‘Solomon’ or ‘Goldman’. To the left hand breast are painted 55 yellow bombs. Cuffs and bottom band are original to the tunic, some tears to the cuffs and very moth to the bottom band. The interior lining all complete.
