A very hard to find combination of the aluminium one-piece stamped buckle for the Kriegsmarine. Marked 'R S & S' on the reverse side. Wear to the breast of the eagle and approximately 50% of the original gilt left on the exterior. Virtually all of the gilt to the interior is still in place. One of the scarcer of the war economy badges ever produced was the bronze coloured plastic badge for the Army Air Corps. This version is complete with both of its fixing blades but is slightly unfinished by having the peg on the reverse side that fits to the mould still in place.
