GERMAN WWII ARMY ISSUE FELT WINTER BOOTS.

A good lightly used set of the felt winter boots, the leather boot section good, some slight ordnance repairs to the stitching. The felt upper area also good, these are quite often attacked by moth, both of these boots are free of any moth damage. Good strong soles with both of their adjustment strap buckles on the upper rear, one is hanging on by two threads and needs attention.  read more

A good set of officers marching boots, leather uppers excellent, good finish remaining. The boots were never studded but still with their heel and toe cleats, one of the heel cleats is slightly loose, they appear to be size 9 English. Both canvas inner pullers present.  read more

A very interesting grouping found in a French flea market recently, comprising the Vorlaufiger Fremdenpass, which is a temporary foreign workers passports. Al contained in a soldbuch pass holder with the silver embossed eagle and swastika to the face side with the word ‘Soldbuch’ below. GERMAN WWI SOLDIERS BACK PACK/TORNISTER.

Mid war type in olive drab canvas and brown leather. Karlsruhe maker’s stamp on the top leather rear section and repeated on one shoulder strap, the opposite strap appears to be a replacement. Regimentally marked in red ‘J.R 88’ which is the 2nd Nassau Infantry Regiment No.88. Original soldier’s name ‘Deckelburg’ applied in backing on the reverse canvas.
