GERMAN WWII ALLGEMEINE SS REGIMENT GERMANIA STANDARTENFUHRER’S TUNIC.

A very rare tunic produced from a slightly lighter weigh grained Gabardine-like material, constructed in the correct Allgemeine SS cut. The tunic still has its Hamburg maker’s silk label on the exterior of the interior pocket, to the interior of that pocket is a name label where all of the lettering originally we presume was in pencil and has been rubbed away to avoid identification. The tunic has seen some wear around the collar, some thinness to the nap in that area. A superb set of insignia fitted including a Standartenfuhrer rank single collar patch, two heavy bullion wire Standartenfuhrer collar patches in bullion wire on a velvet base. A multi constructed Allgemeine SS armband fitted with two moth holes. A superb quality RZM heavy bullion weave Germania seven strand officers cuff title. The Old Fighters chevron fitted to the right-hand centre sleeve as the tunic is worn. A hole has been tailored through the lower left-hand lining of the tunic as the tunic is worn for the passing through of the sword or dagger hanger. All of the closure buttons are RZM marked, the pocket buttons are Assmann marked and the two belt support buttons on the rear are marked OLC.
