BELGIUM WWI COMBAT HELMET.
All of the Belgium helmets at the beginning of the war were supplied by France, painted in horizon blue, the Belgiums then repainted the exteriors only to their own colour, this is an example of one of those early helmets, fitted with the Belgium Lion badge, excellent finish to the paint. Horizon blue brushed finish with its artillery plate to the front. Some slight chipping to the paintwork but generally good, with its original chinstrap and its complete interior liner. Faint traces of an owner’s name painted in indelible red pen to the rear peak of the helmet. read more
RUSSIAN WWI ADRIAN HELMET, SHELL ONLY.
The shell only of the rare Russian Adrian helmet of WWI. Good Russian paint finish remaining with some thin areas. The only part of the liner present is the wool liner band, the chinstrap is complete but only attached to one side.
