The head measures 18 x 14cm, wood frame measures 28 x 23cm, with suspension facilities to the reverse side. In our opinion the most difficult item of Afrikakorps issued clothing to obtain. Hundreds of photographs can be seen of the men wearing the greatcoats, the desert in the night time is very cold and it is surprising how few of these greatcoats are left.
