BRITISH WWI 2ND PATTERN BRODIE HELMET.

A very nice condition 2nd pattern Brodie combat helmet from WWI. Rough sand finish, all paint remaining. To the interior the oilskin liner excellent, stamped size ‘7’ to the internal strap. The large rectangular red ink stamping of ‘Brodie Steel Helmet, War Officer Pattern’ to the inside of the oilskin. Minor moth damage to the upper inner crown felt pad. ITALIAN WWII MVSN 1932 MODEL DAGGER.

Excellent condition blade, no reprofiling or damage. The cross guard is in the form of a straight block with the ‘MVSN’ initials to one side with a Fascist symbol laid in the horizontal form to the reverse. Wood grip undamaged, held by three rivets to the tang. Fitted into its original scabbard, which has its correct fitted belt loop with its inner steel band liner.
