An interesting reminder of war being a 2nd pattern type Afrika Korps tunic and standard pattern straight leg trousers that were recently recovered from Italy. These items show extremely extensive wear, their origin was from a POW camp and items appear to have been left behind by various departing prisoners and were discovered in Italy.
