A good jaunty shape in the naval style approximately size 58 or 59. Dark blue body with the oval shaped badge similar in size to the DAF badge but with a gold bullion anchor overlaid with a metallic Steam Ship Company flag. A very difficult set of trousers to obtain, approximately size 80 waistband, constructed with captured Italian wool cloth. Large belt loops fitted. All original buttons intact. Complete with its small key ring. Long legs. No moth damage anywhere. A very good clear and profuse size stamping to the light grey centre band including the designation ‘M44’.  read more

In our opinion one of the rarest items of German army clothing of WWII, from memory I believe we have only had 5 of these in nearly 50 years of trading. A rare combination of an SS officers sword of long length with the same officers Model 33 dagger that belonged to Waffen SS Obersturmbannfuhrer Alfred Graf.
