This very narrow subject has an enormous amount of information completed by Wilhelm Saris. 635 pages of photographs both in colour and in black and white on the aiguillettes of all of the military and political organisation of the Third Reich period from 1933-45. A nice example of an early SA dagger by E P & S Solingen. To the face side the full Alles Fur Deutschland logo, some minor black spotting at the upper part of the blade otherwise good original cross grain finish remaining to this face side. ITALIAN WWII MODEL 1922 POINARGD.

The unusual 1922 model poinargd with the cruciform blade, in its original scabbard. Good undamaged grip, plating thin to the hilt, one of the two fascist badges missing from the hilt, in its original steel scabbard with belt loop. Some evidence of corrosion to the scabbard and to the upper part of the blade.  read more

GERMAN WWII FREIKORPS CHIEN-GAU ARMBAND.

A rare Freikorps armband, blue and white for the colours of Bavaria with the central side on view of an eagle’s head with the wording ‘Chien-Gau’ below. Freikorps Chien-Gau were at one stage the largest Freikorps organisation in the post WWI period. Complete with a local over-stamp. Some slight fading to the colours but rare.  read more

GERMAN WWII FORESTRY HANGER WITH EAGLE AND SWASTIKA TO THE HILT.

This is the only Forestry sidearm that had the Third Reich insignia cast into the grip area, this is the aluminium version, which is the most favoured amongst collectors.
