A complete NSFK non portable award for the Deutschland Air Race 1938. Copper bronze finish to the award with all of its finish intact. Individually numbered ‘4132’ on the reverse side, with its separate citation, which is kept behind the upper inner lid, which is issued to a Walter Lungershausen on the 29th May 1938 with facsimile signature of Friedrich Christiansen Chief of the NSFK. A highly attractive plaquette measuring 8cm in circumference showing 3 farming and worker figures in raised relief. On the reverse side is a black swastika over ‘1937’ with presentation description ‘FOR SERVICE IN WORK’ to the centre.
