A very nice matched pair of general pattern shoulder boards for executives of Group 1. Two gold braids surrounding one silver braid with a gilt national emblem set in the centre of each board over black wool overlay. A very good set of service worn jack boots, good form, soft and supple leather. All original steel nails to the sole with both steel toe and heel cleats intact. Nicely marked ‘size 27 ½ 6. 43. 307’. Unusually the two inner tabs that help pull the boot on have been replaced by two non contemporary leather pulls, the two canvas pulls on the outside of both boots are intact. No field repairs.
