Some light pitting to very tip of blade, good clear Mauser manufacturer markings, blade could be cleaned. Rifle retaining system working correctly, undamaged grips. Flat section of blade profusely Imperial marked and dated 17. All fitted to its slightly pitted scabbard having one piece of battle damage.  read more

Comprising the Iron Cross 2nd class, although it is not possible to observe the ring for markings this would appear to be a silver version. The Friedrich August medal. The Third Reich awarded 1934 War Honour Cross 1914-18 with swords, the group with its original pin back suspension.  read more

GERMAN WWI STICK GRENADE.

A nice condition stick grenade with the very top of the grenade missing, would haft excellent, with full timing stampings visible, lower cap detached and the porcelain ball missing, the head retains all its original field grey green finish with its belt loop but is missing the upper top of the grenade. Scarce screw back type, excellent quality and highly detailed. Hollow back type with convex round back plate , a small pin to the upper reverse of the hollow produced badge that helps with securing the award to the uniform very good condition, nice uncleaned platina overall.  read more
