A rare enlisted man’s leather helmet of the Lieb Gendarmerie. Excellent leather skull, size approximately 55, all fittings matching in colour, clip over chin scales with square cup front peak. A very fine condition all black leather, size ‘55½’ stamped skull, some light crazing to the front and rear peaks. All silver fittings with its Bavarian front plate, chinstrap, national and state cockades.
