A very nice convex constructed Iron Cross 1st class, retaining all original finish to the central black core. Marked 800 just above the retaining hook on the reverse side. award with its original pin hook and hinge. One slight bend at the top right-hand side of the upper arm of Maltese cross.  read more

An unusual example of the Iron Cross first class non-maker marked, convex construction, thin needle type pin, some wear to the black finish to the central core. A nice and complete trench armour being the 2nd pattern model with apertures either side of the upper body plate for the attaching of the waist strap, remnants of a subdued camouflage finish to the exterior, all of the plates having their inner horsehair padding and webbing straps that hold all of the plates together, the upper plate being of large size ,these were produced in three sizes.  read more
