A good example of the ultra rare gas hood known as the PH helmet. The P or PH helmet appeared in 1915 replacing the previous Hypo helmet. A fine pair of the scarce lace up issued artillery and mountain troops riding boots. Stitching loose to the back seam on the right hand boot, both closure leather tabs and buckles present at the top of each boot, some minor distortion to the leather in the foot section, all of the metallic hooks are present with one exception to the left hand boot. read more

BRITISH WWI R100 ENLISTED RANKS AIR SHIP BADGE.
An extremely rare badge being the enlisted ranks version, worn on the visor cap for a member of the crew of the airship R100. The sister ship the R101 crashed with great publicity in northern France in the middle 1930’s, subsequently the R100 was scrapped. Residue of paper and glue on the back where once adhered to a collectors display board, beautifully hand embroidered. read more
