BRITISH/CANADIAN WWI CANADIAN STIFF TOP CAP.

A rare hat from WWI being the stiff top cap, Montreal maker inside, Canadian stamped ‘1917’ dated size 6 ¾ Some light moth to the rear of the cap, the crown is virtually free of moth, slightly discoloured, with its original Canada bronze badge, its Canadian side buttons and its original correct size narrow leather chinstrap with twin buckles.  read more

BRITISH WWI PH HELMET.

A good example of the ultra rare gas hood known as the PH helmet. The P or PH helmet appeared in 1915 replacing the previous Hypo helmet. CANADIAN ROYAL FLYING CORPS BREECHES.

An extremely rare pair of other ranks issued breeches, these are in typical Canadian coarse other ranks wool and have no reinforcing to the inner legs and would have be worn with puttees. The Canadian military provided a great deal of personnel in terms of flying and much training was undertaken in Canada. BRITISH WWI ARTILLERY AND MOUNTED ENLISTED RANKS BOOTS.

A fine pair of the scarce lace up issued artillery and mountain troops riding boots. Stitching loose to the back seam on the right hand boot, both closure leather tabs and buckles present at the top of each boot, some minor distortion to the leather in the foot section, all of the metallic hooks are present with one exception to the left hand boot.  read more

BRITISH WWI R100 ENLISTED RANKS AIR SHIP BADGE.

An extremely rare badge being the enlisted ranks version, worn on the visor cap for a member of the crew of the airship R100. The sister ship the R101 crashed with great publicity in northern France in the middle 1930’s, subsequently the R100 was scrapped. Residue of paper and glue on the back where once adhered to a collectors display board, beautifully hand embroidered.  read more

A nice condition British Artillery Officers stiff top cap, large size, possibly size 57. One water stain to the crown. No moth damage anywhere. Complete with its bronze artillery officer's badge. Standard thin leather chinstrap. Crowned artillery side buttons. The interior mid tan leather sweatband all complete. The interior crown is multi stitched lozenge shaped lined.  read more
