A rare accessory for the MG08 Maxim machine gun being the very first pattern ammunition box constructed in wood with all brass edge fittings and brass handle with Turkish script hand applied to the side of the box, this is faint and maybe difficult to pick up on our web images but is clear when held in the hand.
