The inside separation panels are missing however complete with its sprung loaded web tab to the closure catch, which is maker coded and dated ‘42’. The webbing tab still in place. An interesting variation on the typical Afrikakorps rucksack made from a mid weight olive brown canvas throughout. Most of the closures are the Lux type buckle and strap end, these are a lightly rusted metal, however good and strong. To the rear are the two Y strap mounting type brackets. A good set of well service used webbing and leather tropical Y straps. The long multiple suspender section is constructed in webbing with some fraying and rust to the metal fittings. GERMAN WWII ARMY STEEL CASED PHILLIPS DYNAMO HAND GENERATOR FLASH LIGHT.

The flash light has no batteries it is hand powered using the press lever which drives a miniature generator to produced electric current to the bulb. After the invasion of Holland the German authorities found that the Dutch Company Phillips had capacity to manufacture these items.  read more
