GERMAN WWII DRIVING MITTENS.

The leather and grey canvas drivers mittens with leather hand part with the remainder in canvas with all of its leather strapping and male/female clothing studs. The leather used on the leather clothing straps are identical to the leather used on German paratrooper helmet straps. GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE MARKED Y STRAPS.

Any equipment Kriegsmarine marked has to be considered rare, this is a set of the parade style Y straps, also used by mounted troops in the army and Luftwaffe paratroopers. Service worn, all fittings good with nice large naval Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp on the exterior of the short strap that runs down the back of the wearer.
